On the Monday before the crucifixion as Jesus Christ approached Jerusalem Luke 19:41 says “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it”. As we behold the deplorable, sin-sick state of our nation it is imperative that we take our weeping hearts to consistent and persistent prayer. Please pray for America: 1) for revival; 2) for the upcoming elections; 3) for a return to the founding principles of this constitutional republic.
Please remember our continual prayer request for the year of 2016: that the Lord would give us on average 3-4 meetings per month throughout the year, with some of these meetings being revivals. That would mean that in total we would have 36 meetings by the end of the year, which is, I believe, more than I had as a missionary. This is a tall order for an evangelist starting out, and so if the Lord were to give us as many meetings, we would know that it would be nothing short of a miracle. I seek the Lord to fulfill tall orders because I know He can do it. Besides, why would I ask the Lord to move a mole hill, when I can ask him to move a mountain?
Much to our surprise, in January we were in 6 different churches. Glory to the Lord for this. Initially we had 3 scheduled, but the Lord gave us 3 extra meetings at the last moment.
For most of February and most of March I have been filling in for my pastor while he was away in the Philippines and other Asian countries. My pastor with his missions team saw hundreds, if not thousands, saved during their time in the Philippines, and Pastor White also was able to see much fruit from his ministry to Asian pastors. I was happy to be able to take his pulpit while he was away. It is a joy to be used of the Lord, and it is always a special joy to preach to my home church – Fellowship Baptist Church, Clarklake, MI.
As we look forward, we have a meeting scheduled this coming Thursday (3/24) as a Good Thursday meeting at Melvin Baptist Church, in Melvin, MI. If you receive this by mail instead of email, this service would have already happened, but we always ask that you pray that there would be lasting fruit from our meetings.
In April we have 1 meeting, and in May we have 1 meeting. Please pray that we would be Spirit filled in all our interactions with people. Please pray that we would see souls saved and please pray for revival. Please pray that the Lord would lay it upon the hearts of pastors to contact us for more meetings.
Thank you so much for your consistent prayers, and thank you so much for your financial gifts. They are an incredible help and encouragement to us.
